On his 50th Birthday (croquembouche in tow), thought we’d re-introduce our Founder / Owner / Creative Director, .

Justin Pace stands at the forefront of Australian hairdressing and is one of our nation’s consummate hairdressers, named Australian Hairdresser of the Year 2023 (AHIA Creative Awards.)

With over 30 years’ experience, Justin is a two-time Australian Colour Technician of the Year (Hair Expo Australia Awards 2019 / 2014), renowned for pushing technical and artistic boundaries.

Justin’s Brisbane salon, Co and Pace Salons, has thrice been recognised as Australia’s Best In-Salon Training provider (AHIA Business Awards 2025 / 2023 / 2022), reflecting Justin’s commitment to education and industry excellence.

Beyond the salon, Justin works as a Redken International and National Artist and Educator, and International (NZ) and National Hair Director (2014 - present.) In addition (since 2024), Justin has been the Founder / Creative Director of CURATE Awards, an international (NZ) and national platform aimed at uncovering apprentice talent (thereby perpetuating the hair industry.)

For over a decade, Justin’s comprehensive experience has seen him function as an International and National Awards’ Judge, and media-wise his photographic collections have been published internationally and nationally.

Locally, Justin works with respected institutions / brands, and is someone known for his professional, personable approach.
