Who wants to hear about unhelpful ways of thinking?
When you're sitting in distress and finding it hard to use healthy ways of coping, try adding one 'thing' that's good for you.
Been on the couch for a week bc of grief? Have a punnet of strawberries.
Is this a ridiculous idea?
Often we aren't capable of doing anything good for us and fatigue when grieving/experienced trauma/chronically distressed is REAL. I recommend adding one strategy. This might help you start building on this. So you might have a healthy item (the strawberries) when all you've eaten is junk. In the morning try going for a short walk (a stupid walk for my stupid mental health).
