• my tip sizes are custom sized to fit exactly to the size of my micro sized tip tool - I use the bond babe from
• I keep my bond tool clean & buy a new one regularly to ensure it’s heating consistently & Is free from old glue and build up which may affect the bond melting timing
• I don’t use a round shield during installs, I use a crease less clip for easy clip on and clip off, rather than having to thread the shield onto the section (which sometimes disturbs the section)
• EXPERIENCE - I’m doing several bond installs through the week so my ability to keep my speed up and all my hand movements come natural as I’m doing this repetitive motion of installing hundreds, sometimes thousands of strands a week
• I barely put down my comb, while installing each strand I hold my comb with my arm instead of putting it onto the trolley while melting each strand
• I don’t stop while chatting, check my phone etc, if I know my client is needing to get in & out because they don’t like to sit too long or has a busy schedule I LOCK IN & laser focus to power through
• I sit on a stool for majority of the installing from nape to crown… this saves both my back and provides stability so I’m doing less awkward twisting or bending
