Hi everyone! It’s me - Christie 👋
I thought it may be nice to make a little post about myself, for those of you who haven’t met me yet.
A little about me:
〰️ I draw my style from the 1940s to 1960s
〰️ My dream home would be a Mid Century/Palm Springs pad with a flat roof and a brightly coloured front door
〰️ I have way too many craft projects started and no time to finish them 🤭
〰️ I have to avoid plant nurseries at all costs - or I will leave buying all of the plants 🌱
〰️ If you ask me about my dogs and cat, I will spend hours talking about them 😅
Why I became a Lash Artist:
My background is as an Allied Health Professional.
I have been a self confessed Lash Extension Enthusiasts for the better part of 5 years. I love the way they boost my confidence and help me feel more ‘put together’ (did I mention I’m a Virgo 😅).
While I love my work in the Allied Health field, I found I was yearning to be able to express my creativity while working. The more I learned about Eyelash Extensions, the more I knew this profession would tick all of the boxes for me. There is something so special about being able to help people feel and look their best... and I believe my health background has the added advantage of enabling me to provide professional, caring service in a clean and safe environment.
My goal is to provide premier beauty services to each and every client. To help you look and feel amazing everyday - effortlessly.
I look forward to getting to know you and to help you look and feel your best!

So you’ve just spent your hard earned 💵 on beautiful Lash Extensions and your Lash Artist suggests you use a cleanser to look after them....
Do you a) disregard the advice and use your normal make up removers/cleansers? Or b) stock up and use the suggested product? 🤔
Many Lash Artists will suggest you use a Lash Cleanser (I hope!) but do they explain WHY?
If you’re a bit of a nerd like me... you like to know the WHY for a lot of different things.
With Lash Extensions, cleansing them properly at home is the best way to ensure they last a long time and stay looking fresh, fluffy and as full as possible between appointments.
Regular make up removers and facial cleansers rely on OIL based formulas 9x out of 10 and oils will drastically reduce the strength of bond of adhesive used on your extensions to stick them to your natural lash.... put simply - they will FALL OFF very quickly.
It is also very important to note that if like me.. you use serums and anti ageing products that have formulas including hyaurolonic acid, retinol, and sunscreens, your lash retention (how long the extensions stay stuck) can be affected.
My top tips for maintaining beautiful lashes AND skin?
1. Avoid putting skin products too close to the eye area
2. When washing your face, shield your eyes from the water run off OR invest in some microfibre face cloths. I use these by moistening and wiping my cleanser off while I’m the shower ( just make sure you practice good hygiene - cloths, sponges and brushes can harbour bacteria! I have one cloth per day of the week to avoid germs and my cleansing brush is cleaned and stored Dry each day)
3. Cleanse your lashes with an approved lash cleanser - Daily.
If you’ve read this far, thank you for taking the time to educate yourself.
I’m always happy to chat further about all things Lash Extensions. Send me a Dm or reach out below if you would like to know more

Hybrid lashes - the perfect balance of a fullness with a lovely soft texture that still looks natural.
Hybrid lashes are a mix of Volume (2 or more lashes applied in a fan to one natural lash), and Classic lash extensions (one lash extension applied to one natural lash).
If you are wishing for a lash set that’s a little more full than traditional classic extensions, but do not like the look of Volume lashes (extra dense and full) - The Ritual Hybrid Set is the perfect option for you 👌
I love creating lash extension sets that are on the natural looking side. Hybrids give me the opportunity to amp up the drama a little more without being over the top. Perfect for the office and for special occasions alike! Of course, all sets are expertly mapped to suit your face, eye shape and I will always ensure your natural lashes are not over extended or damaged by extensions that are too heavy for them to support 🤓

Do you have Lash Extensions and love to wear eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadows?
Did you know that some makeup items can cause build up at the lash base and your Lash Extensions to to fall off prematurely?? 😱
⠀
Try to avoid oil based eyeliners and cream based shadows.. and gurrrll.. step away from that mascara!
I always recommend my clients use an approved Lash Extension cleanser (I sell these at the salon 😉) to help remove makeup residue and maintain good eye hygiene!
