A new chapter for äkta.

After several beautiful years in Brisbane, äkta will soon be closing its Australian chapter as life gently shifts back toward Sun Valley.

This studio has held so much - slow facials, meaningful conversations, quiet LED-lit afternoons, and the simple ritual of caring for skin with intention. It has been a space for connection, calm, and the kind of beauty that begins beneath the surface.

Over the coming months, the Brisbane studio will gradually wind down, with the final week of appointments taking place in late May. In the meantime, the space remains open, treatments continue, and there is deep gratitude for every client who has walked through the door and become part of the story here.

At the same time, something new… and also familiar…begins again.

From June, äkta will be returning to Sun Valley full time, reopening the door to the community that first shaped this work and continuing the philosophy of slow, intuitive skin care there.

Transitions often carry both tenderness and excitement. A closing of one chapter, and the unfolding of another.

To the Brisbane community who welcomed äkta so warmly - thank you for the trust, the conversations, and the shared moments of stillness.

And to Sun Valley…see you very soon.
