UPDATE from LEIGH, Owner and Master Director:
I’ve been wanting to write an honest note from me to you for a while.
The past year at LALA has been one of the most challenging and most rewarding of my career, sometimes in the same week.
We moved into a beautiful new salon. We launched new services. We evolved the brand. And through all of it, I’ve been doing what most people don’t see — running a business I love while raising a two year old at home. It is not your average kind of job, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t test me.
What tested me most this year was watching some of our team move on. The hair industry is one where people grow, go independent, change direction — and that’s the nature of the craft. But I know that for some of you, those changes felt abrupt or unsettling, and I want to acknowledge that. You trusted us with your hair and your time, and when a familiar face wasn’t there anymore, some of you felt let down. That matters to me deeply.
What I can tell you is this — the team standing in LALA right now is one I am genuinely proud of. Jasmine, our Master Director, brings over 30 years of experience and a level of expertise that is rare. Chloe, Emilee and Shiloh each bring something different and something brilliant. And Beka holds the whole salon together with more grace than I can put into words. These are not placeholders. These are the people I have chosen to build LALA’s next chapter with.
If you’ve drifted away, I understand. And I’d love the chance to earn you back simply by showing you what LALA is right now.
