🤰✨ Spray Tanning During Pregnancy: What You Need to Know ✨🤰

Many mums-to-be ask if spray tanning is safe while pregnant. How it works…

Spray tan solutions contain DHA (a colourless sugar) that reacts with the proteins in the outer layer of your skin. It doesn’t absorb into the bloodstream, so it’s considered safe for topical use.

💨 Air & ventilation
The main concern is inhaling the mist. That’s why we use good ventilation, filters, and recommend you wear underwear, a mask and (optional) nose plugs during application.

⏳ Trimester timing
It’s best to wait until after the first trimester, just to be cautious. Always check with your healthcare provider or obstetrician before your first appointment.

🧴 Skin sensitivity
Pregnancy hormones can make skin more reactive and change the outcome of the tan. If you’re concerned, we can patch test prior to your appointment.

We’re accepting brand-new, unopened period products and incontinence aids, such as pads, tampons, period underwear, and menstrual cups. Regular, teen, and maternity products are all welcome. Every single donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference!

The Dignity Drive runs from Saturday, 1st March, to Monday, 31st March 2025.
