Rodeo celebrations are fast approaching!! Have you got your makeup sorted for the week? Look no further! My name is Courtney Yapp and I am a Mount Isa born Makeup Artist that will be visiting my family from the 30th of July - 11th of August and I would love to take some bookings while I am here.

I know the struggle of living in a small town and more often than not your favourite Makeup Artists are booked out for the Biggest Events of the year before you’ve even had a chance to message them.

I have over 6 years experience in the beauty industry. And have trained and learned from some of Australia’s best makeup artists and would love the chance to paint some faces in my home town. ❣️

I have been lucky enough to meet a few local makeup artists face to face in Brisbane when they have visited me for 1:1 makeup training. So I would also love the chance to share my wealth of knowledge to any other makeup artists looking to take their skills to the next level and offer Half and Full Days of 1:1 Training during my visit.

In August I will be renting out a space from MissLiltyn Beauty’s new salon coming very soon to shop 3/28 West Street. She has been so generous to invite me to glam with her and I am beyond excited!

I would also know if anyone would be interested in possibly attending a masterclass where I demonstrate how to create one of my more colourful and bright makeup looks as it is what I am known for here in Brisbane. I recently hosted a huge fundraising masterclass in Brisbane, over 120 people attended the event and 100% of the profits went to bushfire relief. (Might add a little video so you can see how it turned out)

I am pleased to announce that the very first Masterclass is set to take place on Sunday the 18th of August 2019!!!

I am calling for all my fellow makeup enthusiasts, makeup artists or if you are simply looking to dip your toes in the water and learn the essentials of makeup application, whether that be on yourself… or someone else… this is the class for you! By attending this event I will demonstrate a step by step process of how i create my “Signature Gold Glam”

I will spend 2.5 hours (if needed) thoroughly taking you through the techniques that I use everyday when creating these looks on my own clients. In this time you are free to ask me as many questions as you like about my career in the makeup and beauty industry, and all the skills i learnt along the way.

Nowadays makeup is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and sitting down and trying something fun and new!

I absolutely love it when I get the chance to be a little bit more creative when it comes to painting faces.

Gone are the days where brown Smokey eyes were all anyone would ask for when in my chair. I love that my girls are asking for bright and daring eye looks with the flawless skin to match.

I love the confidence that they have when they finally get to see what they look like after an hour in my chair! Some of them want to cry tears of joy (but they don’t do it for the sake of the makeup)

It’s a truely humbling job I have. It’s no longer about making my girls look good. To me it’s all about how they feel when they look in the mirror and light it up with a smile after seeing the big reveal! Having the ability to change the way someone feels about themselves for one night is more valuable than you would ever know... it’s priceless.
