There are so many tallow skincare options on the market these days which is GREAT! 🤩 We love that people are moving towards a more natural approach and reaping the benefits of tallow and oil-based skincare - there’s a reason why it is SO popular! The quality of your tallow skincare depends on a number of different factors such as:

- the quality of your suet/tallow and where it is sourced
- what the cows have been fed and exposed to (hormones, antibiotics, pesticides… grass over grain, always!)
- how the suet has been rendered (this is a big one!)
- the quality and type of oils that the tallow is combined with
- the ratio of tallow and oils combined
- quality of other ingredients used (ie: essential oils)

The main feedback we see in our reviews is that you guys LOVE how our tallow skincare smells and feels - it basically sells itself and that’s mostly to do with how we formulate it! We are so happy to share that Talulah Sage has gone international (if you can call it that 😉) and is now on the shelves of in our favourite local village of Paekakariki on the Kapiti Coast.

The lovely Kim at has a small batch of tallow whips on her shelves so if you’re a Wellington/Kapiti local you can now restock at the Paekakariki Fruit Supply 🌻 We love that they’re a small family run business - Kim juggles running the shop while raising her beautiful children so it’s extra special stocking another mother-run small biz!

We spend a few months in my partner’s home town of Paekakariki every year so I’m incredibly excited that our first NZ stockist is in our Aotearoa home 💖 These won’t last long so pop in and grab some real fruit ice cream or delicious gelato while you’re there! 🍦😉

MR TALLOW is our newest product and the all in one skincare for men. A moisturiser, aftershave and beard butter designed to be used all over the face, neck and head.

With organic Argan oil and castor oil Mr Tallow is a great aftershave and beard butter especially for those who suffer from dry flaky or itchy skin and shaving rash. It is especially nourishing and hydrating for the men who spend their days outside in the elements - the tradies, ocean lovers, surfers and fishermen. It is an amazing after sun!

With essential oils of rosemary, basil, cedar wood and black spruce Mr Tallow leaves a beautiful earthy, masculine aroma which is great for those who do love a subtle scent but don’t want to use the harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances found in most aftershaves or beard products.
