This day will always be a hard day to navigate. 💔

3 years ago on this day I received my official diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The day my world was rocked to its core.

1 year ago on this day I received a call no daughter ever wants to receive. But one I knew was close. It was the day I jumped on a flight to get back to my mum and be with her to the end.

Heading into the weeks where the memories of being with my mum as she died will come back hard. The pain of losing her too early still lingers.

I’m still trying to work out how to say goodbye…

It’s a heavy stretch of the year. Grief doesn’t really fade… it just waits for these moments to rise again. 🤍
