This Saturday! kicks off with the southern hemisphere’s biggest barber battle! Be there or be square.

Apparently there’s a rumour going around that I don’t actually cut hair anymore… that I just travel around talking about it.

So here’s a small photo dump from behind the chair lately.

Relieved to report I’m still a barber

Had the pleasure of spending the day with the ridiculously talented team at , pretending I had a few things to teach them.

We ran a custom class blending modern fading techniques with creative cutting structures — breaking down how classic barbering and progressive hair design can actually live in the same haircut.

Always a good day when you get to talk shop, share ideas, and nerd out about the craft with people who are as passionate about hair as you are.

(And hopefully they picked up at least one thing useful along the way.)

In my classes, we spend a lot of time on this final, crucial step. It's about teaching you how to use products and techniques to enhance what's there, not to force it into a perfect, static helmet. The goal is to create a finish that looks just as good in three hours as it did the moment the client left the chair.
