I’ve been so slack with posting on here lately so I felt like it was time to check in. The last month or so has been pretty crazy. A lot has been happening and I’m just mentally preparing myself for the next week 😅

The closer the break gets the more I’m feeling ready for it. 2020 has been wild with covid stuff the beginning of the year, starting Blonde and Bones in July and working non stop since. I’m looking forward to taking time off for the first time since March and going to Sydney to see family and friends.

Over the holidays I probably won’t be posting much hair related but I’ll try keep everyone updates from time to time. Hopefully 2021 I’ll get back into the rhythm of it but for now I’m not putting the extra pressure on it.

I’ll be away from 24th Dec and back in the salon on the 5th Jan. If you need anything regarding appointments just send me a message so I can reply when I’m back.

2020 is officially booked 🤘🏻⚡

Just under 4 weeks until Christmas and I am fully booked. It's going to be a big few weeks coming up so I wanted to go over a few little things work as smoothly as possible.

Firstly, I'm so freakin grateful for everyone that's already made an appointment. If for any reason you can't make your appointment I will try my best to find another time but at this stage I have no wiggle room for reschedules.

I do currently have a waitlist in place, so if you missed out on an appointment and would like to be added to it, send me a message ASAP. I will be contacting everyone in order of the list so it's first in best dressed.

Lastly I will be taking a well needed break over Christmas/New Years. I am working a few extra days in the lead up and will be having 24th-5th off. In this time I won't be responding to any messages so if you need to contact me please do so before.

I am in love with the subtle pink tones in this blonde but if you swipe across you'll see what it looked like processing. If I didn't understand the theory behind colour I would have been totally freaking out 🤯

This is just a little reminder that while your toner is sitting on, the colour pigments are neutralising and depositing. It is never a true representation of what the colour will look like. It will look dark, it will look bright, it will look yellow but it is just working it’s magic ⚡️

I've seen quite a few new faces on my page lately so I thought I should share '10 fun facts about me' so you can get to know me a little better 🤘🏻

⚡ I'm 27 next month but some days I still think of myself as 17
⚡ I've had almost every hair colour but I'll always be a blonde at heart
⚡ Sometimes you'll see me in dresses and skirts, sometimes you'll see me dressed as an emo kid like it's the early 2000s
⚡ I'm an introverted/anxious person most of the time but I love connecting with people and once I put those walls down, you'll see my extroverted side
⚡ I love anything and everything Halloweeny and wished we celebrated it like the US
⚡ I lived the first 25 years of my life in Sydney until moving to Brisbane in 2018. The only thing I'll never get used to here is the heat
⚡ My first concert was Parkway Drive in 2009 and it opened me up to the world of heavy music
⚡ I'm half Australian half German. One day I will take the time to learn the language
⚡ I'm dating my high school best friend and couldn't imagine my life without him
⚡ I always wanted to do hairdressing as a kid and almost 10 years on, I'm more passionate than ever

Time for an update (may be a long one)⚡

I've been a little MIA with posting lately for no reason other than I felt overwhelmed with it all. I've been really busy in the salon lately and the hustle will continue with holiday period fast approaching. All that aside, I'm still alive and well. Posting just hasn't been my top priority lately.

In saying that, there's a few things I wanted to let everyone know. Firstly, I've switched off my online booking. The reasoning for this was my books are getting chaotic and it's just easier for me to work out timing for appointments myself at this point in time.

Secondly, I've decided for the remainder of the year I will not be taking on any new clients. I appreciate and welcome new guests so much but I have very limited spaces for the remainder of the year and it's only fair to give my current clients first priority. I will post on my stories if I have last minute spots open for new clients.

Lastly, I only have 5 appointments left for late nights and Saturdays for the rest of 2020. If you do have an appointment for a late night and need to cancel please do so asap so I can offer them to someone else. December Saturdays are already full and I currently have a waitlist for anyone who was needing them.
