Ok so here's the story.

You plan this incredible holiday, months of planning, saving. You book yourself a hair appointment where you spend 3 hours in the chair, have me create amazing hair for this holiday you've spend months planning. I go through a care plan, so your hair looks top notch for all your holiday photos.

You arrive at your hotel, exhausted from the travel. It could be a drive to the coast, a 14 hour or 36 hour international transfer. It's 3am or 5pm who knows? You're jet lagged, legs are sore from being cramped and sweaty after being stuffed like a sardine.

You decide to shower, but FORGOT to unpack your specially formulated shampoo and conditioner for your incredible vacation hair.

You think "ahhh great, the hotel provides shampoo", just this one wouldn't matter?

Then for the entire holiday you use whatever is provided to you.

You come back afterwards, tell me about your incredible holiday. The vacation of your dreams..amazing locations, perfect hair I provided. Inform me you want the same as last time.

I apply your colour, same formulation, same application. But something is not right. Your hair is burning, smoking in that foil. Or it's turning a funny shade of green, blue, maybe even pink..

I freak, rince it off. Now the berate of questions begin?

Did you do anything different?
New medication?
Surgery recently?
Have you put any colours in this yourself?
Hormone imbalance?
Change of care products?

You reply, no, nope, nothing.

Guess what, that hotel shampoo.... that's changed your hairs outcome. Long story short, please, please if anything changed between appointments, even something insignificant to you as hotel shampoo, Please tell your hairdresser.

It's just hair- when you lost your job and didn't know what you were going to do.

It's just hair- when you were getting a divorce and just needed to feel better about yourself.

It's just hair- when you had a terrible day and looked forward to being able to vent without being judged.

It's just hair- when you are about to go on vacation and can't wait to tell me all about it on your next visit.

It's just hair - when you were expecting your first child. And I was a safe person to be able to tell.

It's not "just hair" Never has been and never will be!
