Not all lasers are the same. And not all skin concerns need the same approach.
Fotona laser is one of the most versatile tools we have at Vara and the reason it works so well across such a range of concerns comes down to how it's applied, and who's applying it.
Skin laxity and loss of firmness. Texture and uneven tone. Fine lines and deeper lines. Scarring. Pigmentation. Post-weight loss skin changes. These aren't the same concern, and they don't respond the same way. What Fotona allows us to do is tailor the depth, intensity and technique to what your skin actually needs, rather than applying a blanket approach and hoping for the best.
That's the part that matters most to us at Vara. Not which laser we have, but how we use it. Every treatment decision here starts with a proper assessment, a conversation about what's driving the concern, and a plan that's built around you, your skin and where you want to get to.
Technology is only as good as the person behind it. That's something we think about every day.
If you've been curious about what Fotona laser could support for your skin, a consultation is the right place to start. We'll look at the full picture and talk you through what makes sense.

Why the same treatment looks different on everyone.
It comes down to facial anatomy, and no two faces are the same.
The way your face is structured, the depth of your bone, the distribution of fat, your skin quality and even your genetics all influence how your skin ages and how it responds to treatment.
What works beautifully for one person may not be the right approach for another, not because the treatment is wrong, but because the anatomy beneath it is different.
This is why assessment is everything at Vara. We take the time to understand the structure of your face, not just what's visible on the surface, but what's driving it underneath. Where volume has shifted. How the skin has changed over time. What your anatomy specifically calls for.
There's no template for this. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just a considered plan built around you, your face and where you want to get to.
We'd love to welcome you in clinic for a consultation to talk about your goals.

The standard we hold ourselves to isn't just clinical. It's personal.
Every client who walks through our door deserves to feel genuinely considered. Not rushed, not sold to, and not handed a plan that could belong to anyone. That takes intention. It takes time. And it means showing up to every consultation with the same level of care, whether it's someone's first visit or their tenth.
Being doctor-led shapes everything about the way we work here. The depth of the assessment, the questions we ask, the way we build a treatment plan around the whole person and not just the concern in front of us.
It's the kind of care we'd want for ourselves. And it's what we bring to every single appointment.
If you're looking for a clinic that takes your skin health as seriously as you do, we'd love to meet you.

Some skin concerns go deeper than a product or a treatment can reach.
Acne that keeps coming back no matter what you try. Rosacea that flares without warning and affects how you feel leaving the house.
Pigmentation and melasma that shifts with your hormones, your cycle, or the season. These are concerns that don't always have simple answers, and they deserve more than a surface-level approach.
What they deserve is a proper medical conversation. Someone who will actually listen, look at the full picture, and help you understand what's driving what you're seeing.
That's exactly what Dr Chloe Hang offers. She's now consulting at Vara on Saturdays, with a focus on acne, rosacea, melasma, and pigmentary disorders.
If you've been putting off getting answers, this might be the right time.

Your skincare routine matters. But it's only ever part of the picture.
Some of the biggest influences on your skin quality have nothing to do with what's on your bathroom shelf. Sleep, stress, hydration, hormones, daily sun exposure, these things shape your skin quietly, consistently, and over a long period of time. And they're often the missing piece when someone feels like they're doing everything right but still not seeing the results they'd like.
This is something we talk about in almost every consultation at Vara. Because when we understand the full picture of what's affecting your skin, we can support it so much more effectively. It's not about adding more to your routine. It's about understanding what's actually going on beneath the surface.
Swipe through for the five lifestyle factors we think about most when it comes to long-term skin health. Save this one, it's worth coming back to.
And if you'd like a more personalised look at what might be influencing your skin, we're always here for a conversation.
If you've ever felt nervous walking into a clinic for the first time, that's completely normal. And honestly, it's one of the things I take most seriously in every consultation.
When someone sits down with me, the first thing I want them to feel is safe, heard, and in control. That starts with a real conversation, not a treatment menu. I want to understand what actually bothers you about your skin. Not what I think needs addressing, but what you see when you look in the mirror. From there, we build a plan together.
For anyone who's new to aesthetics and not sure where to start, my honest advice is this: start simple. Before you think about treatments, take a look at what you're already using on your skin.
Understanding your baseline is one of the most valuable things you can do. And always book a consultation with a clinic you trust before committing to anything. Ask questions. You're allowed to.
Confidence, to me, isn't about looking a certain way. It's about doing things for yourself that make you feel better from the inside out. That's the intention behind every appointment here.
And if you have an event coming up? A Hydrafacial is genuinely one of my favourite recommendations. It can help support that glowing, smooth, plumped base that sits beautifully under a full face of makeup. Simple, effective, and something most people really enjoy.
If you've been thinking about coming in but haven't made the move yet, reach out. A consultation is always the best place to start, and there's no pressure, just a conversation.

Weight loss is one of the most significant things you can do for your health. But what happens to your skin afterwards doesn't always get the attention it deserves.
If you've worked hard to reach your goals and your skin isn't reflecting how you feel on the inside, you're not alone. Swipe to understand what's actually happening and what can help.
