I would like to take a moment to say a big thank you to my number one supporter. The one behind the scenes, running errands, driving to my hair supplier, keeping our house in order, being chef when I’m working, running around after my boys, not to mention sharing his home also with my clients, making them feel welcome, sharing inappropriate jokes, cleaning bowls, folding towels, the list goes on. There is nothing he wouldn’t do, no job to big to help me out. To support and encourage me with every idea, every opportunity and believes in me when I don’t always believe in myself. I couldn’t do life without you by my side. Thank you for being you and all that you do, not only for me, but our kids also. I appreciate and love you so much. Thank you 💖

Hello again everyone. All I can say is WOW. I’m lost for words and completely overwhelmed with the response I received from my last post.

A lot of sadness from clients but happiness for me all at the same time. The epitome of bitter sweet.

I knew I meant a lot to a lot of people, but I didn’t know how much so. Thank you all for your kind words, and your support for me as I close this huge chapter of my life, the only one I’ve known as I open a new and exciting one.

I have had a lot of messages asking who I’d recommend my clients go to for their future hair needs. I have two amazing hairdressers I recommend and know personally.

Firstly Carissa who has created Haarlu Hair, who is 2 minutes away from me. Located beside Wakerley Park. Beautiful home studio and very talented young lady who I had the pleasure of looking after for her hair needs also. Carissa is growing her business and is welcoming my clients to her salon.

Also Sarah who has created SBN Hair. Sarah is a friend of mine and we worked together for years at our last salon. Sarah has a beautiful home studio also in Alex Hills. Sarah is an extremely busy lady with a young family so only has limited spaces for new clients.

🚨 Attention, Please Read! 🚨

To my amazing client base, I have a very important announcement to make…

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement from hairdressing.
This decision has not been made lightly, however it is the right time for me to have a career change for the greater future for myself and my family due to an amazing opportunity I have been presented with.

I would like to express my gratitude to my amazing clients for your continuous loyalty and support, yes I loved doing your hair, but it was always more than that for me. I became a big part of my clients lives and vice versa. Clients who became friends, clients who were more like family, clients who made my job easy.

Thank you for the bottom of my heart for embracing my family, whilst they came in and out to talk to me, whilst they were eating dinner, while they had moments I needed to sort. I am so grateful I was able to work from home to be present for my boys as well as continue my passion, from the comfort of my home.

With tears rolling as I write this, I am super excited about my new journey I am about to embark on.

I understand this will come as a shock and is very sudden however, this is effective Friday 27 Jan ‘23.

My holidays have come to an end. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas & New Year. Who can believe it’s all over for another year.

I just wanted to update you all on a few changes.

Following on from last year, I am unable to accommodate late night and Saturday appointments for new clients due to being at full capacity for these sort after appointment times.

I will be incorporating my Eyelash Extension service early this year. I will keep you updated on when this will be available to book.

As of 9/1/23 new clients will be required to pay a $50 deposit upon booking to confirm their appointment. I will let new clients know the T&C at the time.

Lastly, in order to continue to provide the highest quality of service, starting as of tomorrow, 9/1/23 you will notice a slight adjustment in the price of your service, due to the ongoing inflation of product and materials within the industry.
