Hello to all my followers and friends. With the lockdown being extended, I have pushed my closure forward.

This post is one I’ve been dreading to write and share, but it’s my time to move on from lashes and delve into the world of secondary school teaching.

I completed my lash training on my 20th birthday in 2019, and now almost exactly 2 years later, I am closing the door on an incredible experience and journey. I officially opened as Lash’d by Ash to customers on the 1st of November in 2019 and quickly began to have a steady flow of beautiful, energetic, inspiring and kind clientele coming through the salon doors. I worked tirelessly while studying full time to ensure I could build and maintain a flourishing business with satisfied and happy customers returning and spreading the word.

When the first lockdown from Covid-19 hit in March 2020, it was the first of many lockdown horrors, which shut up all lash and beauty business (and many others of course). But during the first lockdown, I used my initiative and rebranded to ARBEAUTY, also known as Ashlea Renee Beauty. Ashlea Renee Beauty has opened up many doors for me. I have met the most wonderful people and clients who I now call my friends, I’ve networked with other amazing professionals and been able to maintain a steady flow of business all while studying my Masters full time.

I am so proud of what I have achieved, and if you asked me 3 years ago if I saw myself owning and running a successful eyelash extension business I would’ve cracked up laughing in disbelief! But I did it, and I had a great time doing it. There has been ups and downs and it hasn’t always been easy, but I now stare back down the journey I have been on and I stand here proud, grateful and satisfied.

I want to take the time to thank everyone who has followed and supported me throughout the last 2 years. Obviously I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. And a special thanks to my regular clients, some of which had been visiting me every 3 weeks for almost 2 years. I am so grateful for your loyalty, your incredible stories, wisdom, gossip and your understanding. Words can’t describe how thankful I truly am.

1) when your lash tech brushes your lashes once they finish your full set
2) when your lash tech takes off the under eye pads

Ps. Science definitely didn’t reveal that but we all know it’s true. 🤫👏
