Alone and lonely.
It’s curious how you can be surrounded by people and be lonely, yet you can be alone and not in the slightest bit lonely!!
The noise, agitation, frustration, the sadness of not being heard - that’s lonely and it can really hurt.
Silence can be strangely comforting. Time to just be. To soak up all that’s around you, for the mind to wander, ponder and reflect can be invigorating and recharging.
I’m grateful for the spectacular weather and location today and for teenagers who want to explore without me….. hence the slightly smug grin😁
Today has been the best of both worlds, together and alone and definitely not lonely - which makes me really lucky.
If you know someone who is lonely, let them know you hear them, you see them and that you value them just as they are xx

You know those days where you wake up and just feel a bit uninspired, a bit blurgh (a very technical word!) - have you got a go-to solution??
Maybe you dive into exercise to get those happy hormones going?
Perhaps you prefer some family time with the ones you love, the ones who bring joy and make you laugh?
Is it self care with a fabulous skin care routine, knowing you are looking your best or maybe it’s beautiful food with friends.
Whatever it is that you know will lift your spirits, do it and if you can’t do it staraght away make a plan and lock it in so you know you’ve got it to look forward to.
If we allow our feelings and emotions to constantly control our actions there’s every chance that blurgh feeling will gain much more momentum than is good for us.
We have a choice, the secret is to make sure we are the ones making the choices xx

I’m curious…
Exactly how long have you been waiting but just keep putting ‘it’ off or convincing yourself the time isn’t right, I’ll do it tomorrow / on the weekend / next time I have a day off…
‘It’ of course can be so many things, perhaps you’ve decided to lose weight (we’ve all been there!), get fit (only ever a fleeting thought for me), start getting up earlier or maybe just something as simple as looking for a new moisturiser because those fine lines are starting to look more like wrinkles 🤣🤣
Whatever ‘it’ is, chances are you’ve been prioritising everything else and once again you crawl into bed and realised it’s still on the to do list.
Well enough is enough. It’s time to start getting things back in balance and recognising you need looking after too.
So write down the number one thing you want to achieve for yourself and make a decision to do it, without fail. And if that mountain feels or looks too high, reach out - because two heads are better than one and together we can achieve great things 😁

You know what? Wear the bright red lipstick, go to the beach in your office clothes, soak up the sun after work - even if you are photobombed by a horse! Life is too short to hide, to carry self doubt, to worry about the opinion of others - life is yours to live, honestly and genuinely so that you can start and end each day knowing that’s exactly what you’ve done - lived your best life ❤️
It’s not uncommon to hear people being negative - the question is how do we respond to it.....

Doing something the same way every time is probably going to get the same results. If we want something to have a different outcome we need to take different action - and this doesn’t have to be as hard as it sounds. Start with just one thing and build on it🌟

Believe you can and you will - how many times have you heard that said? The secret it turns out, is to actually believe - not half heartedly but truly believe - then the magic happens!!
