Happy 42nd Birthday Jac. 🥂🎂🎁🎉
You always bring the glam vibes and thankfully insist on capturing memories. I wouldn’t have any photos of us otherwise. 🙈 Have an amazing year ahead. 😘
And here’s to full circle moments - I was 42 when we met and that was 18 years of makeups ago 🥰🙏🤗
And you’re still my #1 hype girl - thank you❤️🥰
When I think of overcoming setbacks, this lady walks the talk (even when it hurts most days). But she doesn’t stop at herself. She inspires everyone around her to keep moving forward, to reach seemingly unreachable goals. Luci joins the incredible today for to chat about her story and the team around this fantastic group of people.

I love to see Amanda reflecting on this body of work. It was such a beautifully produced magazine.
I’m so grateful for the work I got to with the HC creative team on this edition. 🙏

A little makeup story from today 💄
I was restocking my pro kit at Mecca today and had my makeup applied by Paige so I could feel how the products actually sat on my skin (something I always encourage). She nailed the glow and dimension 👏🏻🙌🏻
What stood out (apart from Paige’s expertise) wasn’t the brand or the price — it was how doing good skin prep made everything look. The foundation looked glowy and fresh, even with a bit more coverage than I usually wear, and it still felt light.
If makeup feels confusing or “too much” for you, I like to keep two things in mind:
1. Hydration first. Well-prepped skin makes makeup easier, smoother and more natural.
2. Add Bronzer. A small amount adds shape and warmth so your face doesn’t look flat.
You don’t necessarily need more makeup — just a few good habits 🤍
+ = personal style confidence. Translate your colour palette and personal style into everyday makeup looks that feel authentically you. My approach? Simplicity and cutting down on the noise.

An accident in the ocean breaking both her legs, growing out her natural grey - the fourth attempt…this is why I said ‘yes’ to a virtual makeup lesson with a beautiful client yesterday.
Makeup can be another useful tool to get you through a tough spot. Even if it’s a really natural look, like this one on me ⬆️
We had a great chat about stopping our two-weekly root touch up situation - we have better things to do we decided.
Like learning to work with colour elsewhere. Using undertones and complimentary colour palettes. Thank you for sharing your secrets and making life brighter in so many ways. 🙏
In the meantime, we laughed, had fun and enjoyed the creative process of embracing ourselves as we are.

(Holding the prosecco for a friend 😬)
With natural hair and heat not being the best of friends, I ditched my very old straightener and treated myself (and my kit) to a 2-in-1 contouring pro straightener.
- 🤩- 🙌🏻 -🍾
OmG - It made doing my very thick hair super easy - I still need to do a gazillion sections - but it made a huge difference. Especially like the variable heat control and buzzy Revive Mode.
