Blow Your Top Hair Designers

I’ve gone to write this a few times and haven’t found the words. Friday 28th February, we closed the doors to ‘Blow Your Top Hair Designers’ for the last time. If you drive past the salon now, you will see it empty and only a shell of what it once was. What a great 10 and half years it was. To be able to work alongside Chloe and Teagan, and create an environment where we hope you all felt welcome and at ease was a privilege and something I’ll always be grateful for.

We definitely had our challenges as any business does, but for the most part we were extremely fortunate. I want to extend my heartfelt thank you to everyone who made ‘Blow Your Top Hair Designers’ what it was. To the clients for trusting us with your hair, being comfortable to share your lives and stories with us. For the OG’s who were with us from the start, who watched us grow and go through many stages of our lives. It’s been a privilege to be there and be a part of your lives.

I want to say a special mention to Carly, who fast became my friend. Even though it was only 6 months working together, I truly believe you were supposed to come into my life and I’m so grateful being a hairdresser brought me you. It wasn’t an easy decision to decide to close our doors and pursue a career change and the fear of disappointing not only clients, but Carly too was a weight to bear. Carly being so lovely told me that I have to put myself first and that we can still be friends (thank goodness)

Thank you Carly for sticking it out with me until the end. A testament that you’re such a lovely, kind hearted person.

Thank you to all our clients throughout the years. We’ll always treasure the memories of our time together and the relationships we created and the lives we touched. You will be missed.

Dear Clients,


After 10 and half years, we have made the incredibly tough decision to close the salon. Whilst it will come as a shock, we are ready for a change. We want to take this time to thank you for your trust, loyalty and support over the years.

We’ve shared many moments and memories together and we’ll always treasure these.

Our last day will be the 28th February. Any future appointments from this date onwards will be cancelled.

After 13 years of Hairdressing, Kiara is having a career change. We will keep you posted where Carly ends up, so you can still have a familiar face doing your hair.

Our books are now closed for the rest of the year. We are running a waitlist and you’ll be contacted if we have a cancellation.

Kiara’s books are closed until further notice and she is currently only accepting her existing clientele. Carly’s books will reopen in the new year.

As you know we’re short staffed as we lead into our busiest time of year.

We are fully BOOKED for colour appointments and we have a waitlist. We have very limited availability for hair cut appointments.

If you don’t need your appointment please call us on 8382 4475, so we can offer the time to someone else. We also don’t have the availability to reschedule clients as we’re extremely booked. So if you need to cancel for whatever reason, we’ll put you on our waitlist.
