UNDERSTANDING YOUR LIPS

Lips are one of the most delicate features on the face, and there’s much more to them than just shape. Here are a few things to keep in mind if you’re considering a lip treatment:

🔹Shape & proportions
Every person’s lips are unique. The natural outline, symmetry, and balance with the rest of the face are all factors to consider. Treatments are planned with your existing anatomy in mind, aiming to complement rather than change your natural features.

🔹 Lip tissue
Unlike the rest of your skin, lips don’t have oil glands and the tissue is much thinner. This is why they can be more prone to dryness, sensitivity, or swelling. The delicate nature of lip tissue also means they may respond differently to treatments compared to other areas of the face.

🔹Healing process
It’s normal to notice some temporary effects after a treatment. This may include swelling, tenderness, or bruising, which generally improve within a few days to two weeks. Small lumps may also be felt initially but often soften as the product settles and the tissue recovers. Everyone’s healing journey is different, and time is an important part of the process.

🔹Results
Outcomes vary from person to person. For many, gradual and subtle adjustments over time can provide a softer or more hydrated look. The aim is not to create a “one-size-fits-all” appearance, but to support your natural features.

Before treatment and 7 months after completing a series of three Rejuran sessions. Rejuran is commonly used to support skin quality and texture, especially in delicate areas like under the eyes. In this case, results have been maintained over time.
