🎄 Our little sneaky friend Elfonzo the Christmas elf has been playing tricks around and popping up in random places in the salon again. Clients if you see him in the salon feel free to move him to a different spot anywhere in the salon. 🎄
This industry can be a toxic environment sometimes and no one really talks about it. Hairdressers can be nasty with eachother. Not all salons you work in will be peaceful and kind to eachother. Sometimes others insecurities come out and create tension and nastiness between employees. Behind the scenes isn’t always sunshine and roses. I get a lot of young people asking me what it’s like being a hairdresser, because they want to be hairdressers. What I will say is always follow you passions and don’t let anyone break you down because people will try. And if your not happy where your working or don’t feel comfortable LEAVE! Find you place in this industry where you feel safe, happy and your talents are appreciated and you will flourish. Dont let other’s nastiness stop you from doing hair either if that’s your passion. Don’t ever look back and protect your peace. ☮️
