As put perfectly by our stylist and educator Paula, Florals are one of our biggest design clues we get as creative stylists aiming to personalise a look.

Flowers reveal so much about the mood, personality and aesthetic of a wedding through their proportion, structure, texture, mood seasonality and colour.

For hair, we’re looking at structure, texture and movement. A tight uniform sculptural bouquet might inspire something sleek and architectural, while loosely bundled, wild blooms often lend themselves to softer texture and effortless movement. The bouquet isn’t dictating the hairstyle, but it can help us understand the design language of the client and how they picture their day.

For makeup, florals become part of the colour palette. Because your bouquet is held so close to your face, its tones, saturation, contrast and texture influence how your beauty is experienced and photographed. They also help us understand the feeling you’re drawn to whether it’s pretty, fresh and playful or maybe rich, deep and dramatic.

The most beautiful bridal beauty isn’t created in isolation. When your florals, styling, dress code, location, hair and makeup all share the same visual language, the results are captivating and harmonious.
