As a Myotherapist I am frequently asked "What is Myotherapy?" to which I try to give an informative answer. To help educate people and promote the discipline, the association I belong to (Myotherapy Association Australia) has been working with the Department of Health to present Myotherapy Awareness Week. Myotherapy Awareness Week runs from May 5th to May 12th. Throughout this week I'll be posting further updates and links to videos promoting and explaining exactly what Myotherapy is all about.

Well, I've gone and done an old man thing. Fell off a step ladder and landed heavily on my right shoulder. Dislocated it and tore two rotator cuff muscles. Will require surgery in about 3 to 4 weeks. Recovery time is typically 6 to 9 months! Hmmm...not going to be able to do too many Myotherapy and Remedial Massage treatments for a while. Oh well, it could have been much worse.
