On Saturday, our Pruey had her last day at . I’ve been trying to think of the right words to put together for this post, but honestly, nothing quite does it justice for how I feel. Pruey came into my life 4 years ago, our friendship blossomed over lockdown with weekly walks along the Yarra, getting sweet treats and inevitably giving up on walking and sitting down to chat for what was sometimes hours. There are some people in your life that you meet, and you just know they’ll be in your life for a long time to come. And my girl, that’s how I felt when I met you. 3.5 years ago you started at Co-Studio, and you have been a huge part of making it what it is today, I can’t even begin to tell you how much you’ll be missed. Watching you start your own business, and see it grow into what it is today, has been an honour. I’m so, so proud of you. Now, and always. But the biggest honour by far is our friendship. You’ve taught me to be vulnerable (even when I’m being stubborn), you love with your whole heart and every cell in your body, made me laugh every day, you’ve always given me your shoulder to cry on, taught me that not all plants at the hot springs cafe garden are edible, you’re incredibly generous, shown me it’s okay to be my goofy self, brought sunshine no matter the weather, and so much more. And yeah, sometimes we might fight like sisters, but I would start a war for you and I know you would too.

It may be the end of your time at Co-Studio, but we have a lifetime of love ahead of us. Pruey my darling, the world is your oyster. And I know that you’ll curate it into the most beautiful pearl 🦪🤍

So to mark the end of an era at Co-Studio, here is our first photo together, and one a few months ago that definitely won’t be the last 💕

Hello my loves ✨ I have a couple of important announcements to make. From April 1st there will be price increase. I have avoided increasing my prices for a while as I want to stay affordable for you all, but each year things get more expensive, and the last year costs have increased majorly. Secondly, I am changing over booking systems. This will take effect next week. With this new booking system I will be taking small deposits. The amount of no shows and late cancellations I’ve had recently has been incredibly difficult. So from next week a strict cancellation and no show fees will take place. If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours, you will lose your deposit. If you do not show up for your appointment, the full cost of your appointment will be charged. I hope you can all understand these changes, and continue to support me as I protect the business I’ve worked so hard to establish. I’m so grateful for all the support you’ve shown me over the years and I look forward to seeing you all soon 💖

Cooper heaven❣️Guys Christmas is just under 6 weeks away!! I cannot believe how crazy this year has been. And it definitely shows with how inconsistent I’ve been on here 😂 But my number one priority is to look after my clients in my chair, no distractions! Unfortunately I have very limited spots before Christmas. The last week you guys have gone crazy with online bookings. I’ll do my best to fit people in, but also need to respect my own boundaries and not do 70 weeks like the last few years. I’ll be here all of January. Big love 🤍

*jaw drops to the floor* 😍 For the last 1-2 years we’ve only done face framing foils and a touch of balayage for Saskia, so it was time for a big colour. A combination of babylights, fine slices and balayage were used to achieve this beautiful colour. We won’t need to colour for quite a few months, only when Saskia is ready to add some brightness around her face ☺️

How low maintenance can your colour be? This low maintenance.. We did Fran’s colour in early January. Fast forward to July, and all we did was a toner and big chop. This was a quick 1.5 hour appointment. When I tell you that you are in control of your hair journey, I mean it! I’m just here to help you get here 💕
