Hi everyone I just wanted to do a post just to let my friends and family know that at the moment I will be pulling the plug on all current and future events.

I know that I have agreed to be at certain gatherings this year but unfortunately things have happened and my courses have now changed.

Endometriosis a disease I have been recently diagnosed with after having it for many years.
There were signs and symptoms all along that I never paid attention to and now wish I had. Tissue that should only be growing inside the lining on my uterus has been found to be growing outside of it.

It is a chronic disease associated with severe, life-impacting pain during periods, sexual in*******se, bowel movements and/or urination, chronic pelvic pain, abdominal bloating, nausea, fatigue, and sometimes depression, anxiety, and infertility.

Currently there is no cure but I have elected to have surgery to have the tissue removed. However we all know endometriosis can only be helped with some lifestyle changes and medications. I will battle this for life.

PCOS is also another issue we have found with massive cyst growing on my eggs and with this one I sadly share the same with my eldest daughter. Thank goodness hers has been found while she is still young and we are currently able to deal with hers by having regular check ups, medication to reduce the cyst and maybe surgery as a last resort.

These are some of the symptoms I have so if you feel like you have any of these, go to the doctor asap.
Heavy, long, intermittent, unpredictable or absent periods
infertility
acne or oily skin
excessive hair on the face or body
male-pattern baldness or hair thinning
weight gain, especially around the belly

For myself I have already elected to have surgery as we fear from recent scans that the cyst could possibly be attached to my ovaries. If this is the case I have elected for my ovaries to be removed if this makes it just a bit more easier for the surgical team.

While my body is under going surgery they will also remove any cyst on my right ovaries.

I am remaining close to home to be near my family for support and obviously I cannot control any of the pain when it hits my body, if anyone has experienced any of these issues it is extremely painful.

We are now facing an extremely long process as we prepare to have an 8-9hour procedure. At the moment they need time to organise the teams to be here in south east Melbourne.

So please do not take anything personal if I cannot make it to you. I just need to be home and focus on getting these symptoms under control.

I also do not mind sharing this little story just in case you feel you might have either or both of these symptoms you go get it checked asap.

I was so wrong when I thought I just had back pain 😂

I love you all and now I can go relax with my husband and watch our tv show.
