Alright Beauties, let's talk rays! 😎

You know about the damaging UV rays from the sun, but have you heard about HEV rays from your computer and phone screens? 📱💻

UV rays are known for causing sunburns and increasing the risk of skin cancer. But here's the twist: HEV rays, or blue light, emitted by screens, can also wreak havoc on your skin! 😱

UV rays primarily affect the skin's surface, leading to visible damage like redness and peeling. On the other hand, HEV rays pe*****te deeper, causing oxidative stress that breaks down collagen and elastin, resulting in premature aging, wrinkles, and fine lines. 😵

But fret not! Here's your winning strategy: Take breaks to give your skin some relief, slap on sunscreen for UV protection, and use blue light filters to shield against HEV rays! 🌞💪

🙋🏽‍♀️I change the blue light filter settings on my phone like this:

1. Open “Settings.”
2. Go to “Display & Brightness.”
3. Tap on “Night Shift.”
4. Set a schedule or enable it manually.
5. Adjust the color temperature

So, no need to stop scrolling, but show your skin some love too!

📰You don’t need a boatload of time to do things just for yourself! 🙊

I used to think I needed a massive chunk of time, the perfect moment, or an ideal situation where I could fully focus on myself… but you know what? That moment never seemed to magically appear!🦄✨
I was always waiting for the stars to align, but life had other plans:

🍽️ The eternal battle with dirty dishes that never seem to stop piling up in the sink, like they have a secret dishwasher party when we we’re not looking!

🧺The never-ending clutter that constantly accumulates in every corner of the house, making us feel like professional organisers on a never-ending mission.

📧The relentless emails that flood our inbox, demanding attention and making us feel like we were playing a never-ending game of open shut them with our workload.

👶And let's not forget those adorable mini’s who seem to have us on speed dial 24/7, whether it's requests for snacks, taxi driver, or solving the mysteries of missing socks. They sure know how to keep us on our toes!

Just a little reminder to go slowly when you first start out on your Crystal RetinAl journey 🫶

Crystal RetinAl is what RetinOl would be if it went to the gym- it’s stronger and works harder 💪🏽
But just like at the gym you need to start gently and increase your strength slowly.
Start by ‘warming up’ and gradually introduce Retinal into your nighttime routine. There is a phase in approach for this-

I’m having this convo a lot in the treatment room lately, so I thought I’d pop a post up…

The Neck is such an underrated part of our body that has a massive impact on your facial glow…✨

It is what connects 🖇️your head to the rest of your body and without a free flowing “Archway” the waste products from under our skin cannot be eliminated.

This can be the cause of
📍breakouts
📍sluggish skin
📍wrinkles
and general ‘no glow’ 🙅🏽‍♀️

The neck is also the gateway for fresh blood to feed the cells and bring healthy life and energy back to your face🌳

So the tip for today is
☀️ do a little bit of neck massage ….. or even just touch you neck a little bit more than you did yesterday- this will help stimulate the lymph and will help get things flowing and glowing in your face✨
