Have you been thinking of trying split dye hair colour? Here’s some things to think about before trying it:
- have you coloured your hair before
- Are you willing to maintain the colour every 4-6 weeks
- Do you wear your hair in the middle, side, or switch it often
- Have you tried both colours separately

- How you do your hair care at home
- How often you’re willing to get your hair done
- If any have any important events coming up
This is all important information we need when doing your hair so everything can go as smoothly as possible

This is what an example of what my foils and colour package can turn out like.
This package included having foils placed (between 1/4-full head), then colour placed in between on the roots to match your natural colour.

Colour corrections can be one of the biggest transformations you can do for your hair. Depending on what your current hair colour and condition is and what your hair goals are, it may not be possible to do it all in one session. Here are some tips to prepare your hair before we start your big transformation:
- no new colour in your hair for the past 4 weeks
- Use a clarifying shampoo to remove any buildup
- Use hair treatments if you feel your hair is dry or fragile
- Have a backup inspiration colour in case we need to spread the appointment over a couple of sessions
