I’m still trying to process this… to be nominated for “Nail Salon of the Year” at Darwin Fashion Week is something I never imagined would happen so soon.

What makes this even more special is that I’ve only been back in Darwin this year. In just 6 months of truly taking myself, my passion, and my business seriously, I’ve been given this incredible recognition.

To every client who has trusted me with their nails, shared my work, recommended me to friends, supported my market stalls, ordered press-ons, and followed along on this journey, thank you! None of this would be possible without your support.

This nomination is a reminder that hard work, consistency, and believing in yourself really do pay off. I’m so proud of myself and how far Sugar Glam Beauty has come in such a short time, and I’m even more excited for what’s still to come.

No matter the outcome, being nominated alongside so many talented businesses is already a huge achievement that I’m incredibly grateful for.

Hi everyone! My name is Magali, and I’m the owner of Sugar Glam Beauty.

I’m a busy mum, fiancé, business owner, and someone who genuinely loves helping people feel confident and beautiful. Since returning to Darwin, I’ve been focused on growing my business and creating a space where clients can enjoy a personalised, one-on-one experience without feeling rushed.

At Sugar Glam Beauty, I offer lash extensions, nail services and custom press-on nails that are designed to suit your style, lifestyle, and budget. Whether you're after something simple and elegant or bold and creative, my goal is to create something you'll love wearing.

One thing I prioritise above everything else is client comfort, cleanliness, and quality. I believe every appointment should feel relaxed and enjoyable, with attention to detail and proper hygiene practices every step of the way.

Looking ahead, I hope to continue growing Sugar Glam Beauty, attend more markets and community events, expand my range of custom press-on nails, and build a business that people trust and love supporting.
