I've realised I haven't introduced myself on social media. I'm Erin, owner of Erin Louise Cosmetics - I started in the beauty industry back in 2012 and graduated at the Ella Bache College with a diploma of beauty therapy. After working in the industry i went on to have my own eyebrows tattooed. This sparked something inside of me and i decided to start training in cosmetic tattooing! I had done my research and went eventually decided to so my training through an RTO which i gained my statement of attainment for Cosmetic tattooing. Since gaining this certificate, I've gone on to do multiple masterclasses where I've learnt services and techniques from industry leaders. I truly believe the industry hasn't stopped evolving so why should I. I up skill at every opportunity so I am able to give you the safest and more advanced techniques within the industry.⁠

The Industries special little secret! We can numb those brows baby - so you wont feel a thing. However, due to legislation we do require you to purchase your own numbing creams. I HIGHLY recommend a compounding chemist/pharmacy for 2 reasons:⁠

🌟made to order, in Australia and under Australian rules - over the counter products aren't as good for cosmetic tattooing and some can't be used in the eye or lip areas⁠

🌟 ITS DOUBLE THE STRENGTH!! you wont feel a thing when you purchase it from a compounding pharmacy as it 10% (not 5% like the over the counter options), plus it takes less time to work⁠

Self love is so important! I'm definitely not the best at it but i am trying to improve. I found that when i was at my worst the things that i was thinking about myself was terrible and not something that i would ever think or say to anyone else. sometimes we truely are our own worst enemy. ⁠

Invest in your brows ladies! Find that cosmetic tattooist who has done basic training through an RTO and continued to upskill! why you ask:⁠

🌟an RTO is a registered training organisation in Australia, which means the training provided has to meet a certain standard and the organisation get audited regularly by a governing body⁠

🌟Why more then just basic training you ask? well basic training is just that! it gives artist all the basic knowledge to get started. From here artist can then go do masterclasses through industry leaders to learn advanced technique and grow their skills ⁠

🌟why not go to a artist that has only completed masterclasses. We'll in my opinion, its a catch 22 with this. you just don't know what they've learnt and if its actually correct. Masterclasses are great but they're currently unregulated in the Australian industry - meaning someone can learn via youtube and start teaching 😲 crazy i know!⁠
