There’s plenty of pollen around at the moment, and if you suffer from hay fever, you might notice it’s not just your eyes and nose feeling it.

All the rubbing, watery eyes, tissues and pollen sitting on your skin can leave the area around your eyes, nose and cheeks feeling 𝗱𝗿𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱.

𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽:
🌼 Give your face a gentle cleanse when you get home, particularly if you’ve been outside.
💧 Keep your skin well moisturised and go easy on strong actives or exfoliation if it’s already feeling irritated.
🚿 If it’s been a particularly bad pollen day, wash your hair before bed and change your pillowcase regularly. You don’t want to be sleeping in everything you’ve collected outside all day!
👀 And as tempting as it is, try not to rub those itchy eyes.

Silk tends to absorb less moisture than cotton, which means it’s less likely to soak up as much of the moisture and skincare sitting on your skin overnight.

Once the carbon has dried, I use the laser over the treatment area. The carbon absorbs oil, dead skin cells and impurities, and as the laser passes over the skin, it removes the carbon along with that build-up.

Once we’re finished, your skin is cleansed again and I’ll apply the finishing products your skin needs.
