June is Acne Awareness Month

Acne has been part of my story for much longer than I would have liked. In many ways, it was one of the reasons I entered the beauty industry.

As a teenager, into adulthood, and even now, I still experience breakouts.

What I remember most about my teenage years and early adulthood isn’t just the breakouts themselves. It’s the impact they had on my confidence, self-esteem and the way I perceived myself.

The frustration of trying product after product, waiting for answers, wondering why nothing seemed to work, and feeling like I was navigating it all alone.

Over the years, acne taught me patience, self-compassion and the importance of understanding what my skin was trying to tell me.

If you’ve ever struggled with acne, I hope this serves as a reminder that you’re not alone in the journey.

May was a month that quietly reminded me of a few important things.

That growth isn’t always loud.

Sometimes it looks like a client trusting your advice.
A recommendation shared with a friend.
A message that arrives when you need it most.
A returning client.
A small milestone that once felt so far away.

This month brought new clients, beautiful feedback, the launch of our first Treatment Welcome Guide, increased connection with this community and the exciting milestone of reaching 500 followers.

But more than anything, it reminded me that progress is often measured in trust.
