We’ve all been through a huge couple of years and it certainly ain’t over yet. But it’s important to nurture ourselves and create space to unwind and settle the stressful vibes that we may be feeling from time to time. It is not natural for us to be switched on constantly, we need to experience ebbs and flows throughout the day and sometimes to do this, we need that little bit of extra help.
I have created a calming and grounding herbal tea blend ‘settle petal’ which is designed to do just that and it can help bring you down from an adrenaline high and reduce that feeling of being wired and anxious. Plus it is a powerful sleep aid (knocks you out cold… just jkn but close enough!) and can help to slow our bodies back down to a parasympathetic state.

It looks super weird, kinda like furry mould (🤪) but it is actually an excellent herb for liver cleansing and internal health. It’s bitter, sharp taste might be a bit different to the norm, but bitter herbs are known to be the best for supporting liver function and can help in a number of ways. The liver is an amazing organ and okays so many roles in keeping us healthy and in good functioning order. Just to mention a few, the liver is responsible for filtering our blood from the digestive tract, helps remove toxins, chemicals and drugs from the body, secretes bile and plays an important from in protein synthesis.
Although the liver can generally do a great job, sometimes it can become sluggish due to a variety of factors including those that are lifestyle related such as overindulging in highly fatty foods, repetitive excessive alcohol consumption and can also be impacted by synthetics drugs and medications.
