Tips for creating this chic, polished look ⤵️
💎 Prep for smoothness + control – Start with a smoothing cream to eliminate frizz and give your hair that silky, snatched base.
💎 Create your foundation – Brush the hair back into a clean, tight ponytail at your preferred height. To ensure it’s neat and precise, start by sectioning off the back and secure that portion first. Then, add in your front sections according to your preferred part line. This method keeps the base sleek, symmetrical, and perfectly smooth!
💎 Form the bun – Take sections from the ponytail and smooth each one with KYK Kream’d to control frizz. Comb through each section as you apply product, then layer and cross them over one another, wrapping around the base to create a sleek, seamless bun.
💎 Detail the hairline – Use a toothbrush to smooth away any flyaways, refining the hairline and smoothing out any imperfections.
💎 Lock in the sleekness – Finish with a strong-hold hairspray to keep flyaways flat and the bun secure all day (or all night!).
💎 Optional: soft pieces – For a romantic twist, leave out face-framing pieces for a delicate, effortless touch.
