As a home salon, my hours are intentionally designed to give my clients a more personalised, one-on-one experience while still balancing mum life behind the scenes 🫶🏼

Appointments are limited and Saturdays tend to book quickly, especially for blondes, extensions and transformation appointments ✨

This beautiful natural redhead came in for a mini refresh and honestly… THIS is why I love subtle colour so much 😮‍💨

We added a soft T-section of foils through the top to catch the light naturally, toned everything for that glossy expensive finish and finished it off with a fresh cut + soft movement 🤍

You know that feeling when you leave a salon and immediately know something isn’t right? 😭

This poor babe had already had over 2 inches cut off the DAY before coming to me… but the biggest issue wasn’t even the length that was taken - it was the shape.

The perimeter had huge gaps and “holes” through the ends, the layers were disconnected and chunky, and the haircut just wasn’t flowing properly at all 🥺

The hardest part with corrective cuts like this is that most fixes involve cutting even MORE hair off… but preserving her length was super important to both of us 🤍

So instead of doing a blunt chop, I carefully reworked the shape by:
✨ Blending and reconnecting the layers
✨ Softening the harsh weight lines
✨ Reshaping everything into a soft V-cut
✨ Creating the illusion of fuller, healthier ends WITHOUT sacrificing unnecessary length

And honestly… the difference speaks for itself 😮‍💨
