✨What is the point of receiving teachings if we do not apply them when you encounter everyday difficulties?
In therapy, i always say, “therapy is like gardening, you may plant so many seeds but not all them will grow. However, those seeds that grow, are the ones you want to water and look after” 🌱

Therapy, reading books, workshops, etc is good for getting the knowledge and information, however the practice of those teachings is the main key to reframe those patterns in your life.

Why is it important to find little moments to stop, breath in and reboot?
When we are on the go, means our nervous system is into sympathetic mode, which means preparing the body for stress-related activities and keep me on the go ⚡️
This occurs automatically without conscious thought 🧠

If the sympathetic nervous system is activated too frequently, this can have long-lasting effects on the body, resulting in chronic stress, sleep disturbances, anxiety, among others 😵💫

For this reasons, and to balance the nervous system out, we need to find little moments along the day where we STOP, breathe in and be present, to calm the mind and body down and reduce the stress responses.

We look for balance in life, and this comes from the inside out
• challenge yourself to reduce screen time
• practice mindfulness in little situations (washing dishes, having a shower, watching a sunset…)
• stop, breath in and dive into your body, every day for 1 min or 2

Trust your bodily sensations, thats the way your body communicates to you
The mind gets messy with spiral thoughts and we can go into corners without noticing
The body holds the truth
That trust and believing hold the gate to self, the gate to safety, to belonging

It’s the body the one that manifest, not your mind ✨
Sensory information travels 80% from body to brain, and only 20% brain to body

The affirmations will not work unless you embody what you want, you believe it and feel it safe and true in your body
We don't get what we want, we get what we are, and what we are is a reflection of how our nervous system is 😵💫
How is your body? Is there a firm security base? A good structure that supports it? Or is it closed and blocked?
Your usual responses are survival, energised and macerated in cortisol but you want a life of harmony and serenity - 😐⁉️
The usual responses we have come from a frozen, blocked system, of self-boicot. So we want to change the pattern of behavior and thought but our body still react automatically to situation from a survival mode
Before thinking about behaving a certain way to a situation, our body has already reacted sending that information to the brain, so the body already responded
Before making a decision, our body decided for us because the response to the decision is already stores in out tissues and cells
Where do we start?
It’s important to understand this so we bring the body into the picture of “mental” health and wellbeing

For me, mindful living is a mindset, a lifestyle where you become more present and aware of where you are, not worrying or letting yourself go to the future, or attached to the past, creating the same patterns.
➡️Mindful living is a learning experience where you start living more simply, slower, and more gently with yourself, learning strategies to refocus yourself back to the present moment.

🫣Sometimes we just need to stop analyzing or interpreting things. It's essential to work toward our self-awareness, consciousness, and self-development, but there is so much information out there that RESTING is necessary.
✨Life is to enjoy, have fun, observe, and calm down. 👣🧠The body and mind need time to stop and rest, and simply enjoy life the way it is, to celebrate the journey and honor the path.
