RMC wants to support all Gold Coast Marathon runners this weekend, whether it’s pre race preparation or post race recovery.

From Friday the 3rd of July - Sunday the 5th we are offering an hour mineral pool session for $15. Just show our staff your event registration, race bib or medal upon entry.

Good luck to all runners ahead of this weekend, congratulations on the weeks of training and hard work. We look forward to seeing you in at RMC.

Stretching can…
-reduce the feeling of muscle tightness
-maintain or improve flexibility over time
-improve range of motion in muscles that often become tight from running such as calves, hip flexors, glutes, and quadriceps.

Stretch of the week is our calf stretch! Give your body what it’s been asking for.

By releasing our calfs we can….

Ease Foot and Ankle stiffness
-by stretching our calf’s we can help ease heel pain and inflammation associated with plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.

Improve biomechanics
—stretching our calf’s restores the ankle mobility required for standing, walking, running and deep bending motions like lunges.

Use this quick stretch to keep your upper body fresh between massages, a small movement for a big impact.

Stretch of the week is our side bend release! Give your body what it’s been asking for.

By releasing our Lats and obliques we can….

Ease upper body stiffness
-by stretching our Lats we can release tension from prolonged sitting or heavy lifting. It decompresses the shoulders and improves overhead reach.

Ease tightness in our obliques
-stretching these muscles improves your ability to bend sideways and twist your torso, reducing the risk of painful cramps or pulling.

Stretch of the week is our glute release. Give your body what it’s been asking and try this simple stretch to stay fresh between massages.

By stretching our glutes we can….

Ease lower back pain
-Tight glutes pull on your pelvis and strain the spine. Releasing them restores our spine back to a neutral position.

Improves hip mobility
- Loosening the gluteus medius and maximising makes daily movements- like walking, climbing stairs, or getting in and out of a car- fluid and comfortable.
