Well, it’s been a minute, having a baby is all consuming, and I wasn’t exactly ready for it. Anywhoodles, did anyone else notice that winter wasn’t as cold this year but everyone wanted the most beautiful warm hair colours? I am obsessed with the auburn hair we got to create and crushing hard on this colour 😍

And just like that the most perfect present at 7lb 3oz entered the world and everything fell into place ♥️ Mr John Paddy Higgins made his grand arrival on 02nd September. Both mum and bub are healthy and happy.

Well, I am now 31 weeks pregnant, crazy how fast this time has gone. While I am planning to work right up to when Baby Bug will make their entrance into the world (currently booked till 39w + 5d) , there will be some changes to the opening hours while I am on MAT leave. Annalyse will be running the salon Tuesday (9:00am - 3:00pm), Thursday (9:00am - 5:30pm) and Saturday (8:00am - 12:00pm). I am planning on being back 6 weeks after Bug decides to come into the world and that will be doing part-time hours. I will be returning Wednesday (9:00am - 9:00pm), Friday (9:00am - 3:00pm) and Saturday (8:00am - 12:00pm).

Coppers have been making my soul sing. It’s so different to what I normally do and I love the depth and movement in the colour 🧡

While I know blondes will always have my heart, getting to play, feel inspired and challenge myself has been so great. I love being a hairdresser and it’s moments like these that makes me proud of what I can do.
