Most men don’t lose confidence overnight—they lose it slowly by relying on approval to feel solid.
Slowly eroded away by others, consistently taking a piece of you, not giving back, and you allowing it, hoping for change, or the day it becomes reciprocal.
It is eroded also by social media, and what ever the cultural shift may be at the time, to make positive, confident masculinity shrink and become asexual and virtually non existent.
Despite the social pressures driven onto us, societies still need confident, strong masculine energy for the ultimate survival of the species.
The pat on the back. The “atta-boy.” The recognition.
And when that disappears, so does their sense of self.
But real confidence isn’t built in the spotlight. It’s built in the moments no one sees.
Keeping your word.
Doing the work.
Holding your standard—whether anyone notices or not.
That’s how you rebuild masculinity in your own right.
Not performative.
Not dependent.
Just grounded, steady, and earned.
