"What a season! Just fell short in the GF by 4 points to a red-hot Knights side in Canberra. The memories and connections made within this group are some of the best I've experienced. It’s been a privilege to be part of the big blue machine, and I hope I’ve been the voice I needed at 16 for some of the lads. Doing it with my Son was just the icing on the cake.

Investing in well-planned and correctly executed strength training can greatly assist in both injury prevention and rehabilitation. It is important, however, not to confuse this with circuit training. While the exercises may seem similar, one crucial variable is often overlooked - rest.

In strength training, maximum effort is essential, and as effort increases, so should the amount of rest. Take time to breathe and recover so that you may continue to develop and grow, like updating your software.

While adherence and discipline are often credited for success in various areas, such as fitness or life, I have come to believe that grit is the ultimate determining factor.

Adherence and discipline are essential to enter the arena, but grit is the final push that propels you to victory when the going gets tough and you're worn out.

Life is not always easy or pleasant; in fact, it's often the opposite. I am learning to perceive life's difficulties as tests to determine whether I am genuinely worthy of achieving my objectives. It's not a question of whether I have earned it, but rather, if I quit when faced with adversity, I certainly never deserved it.

People go to what they like and often what they percieve as easier. I know I've been there and made the same mistakes.
Your body doesn't care if you want a monster chest. It requires the opposing patterns to be just as strong.
If they aren't, it will scream and restrict your movement.
If longevity is one of your goals, you need to find balance NOW!
