My heart is broken, Mum you will be so dearly missed, by us all. You are the strongest woman I know … You faced MND with strength and courage. I am so glad you no longer suffering and you are now at peace,not that it makes it any easier for us left behind. 💔
Thank you for absolutely everything you have taught me, and shared with me. I will forever miss calling you late at night, especially when I forget about daylight saving 🤣, watching the kids roll around on your immaculate lawn, and just sitting in the sun watching the world go by. I love you so much. Thank you for being my mum and an incredible oma to Parker and Mason♥️♥️♥️♥️

Why I’m Taking on the MND Challenge:

I’m participating in the MND challenge because Motor Neurone Disease is more than a diagnosis—it’s life-changing. While many people might recognize the names of athletes or public figures who have been affected, MND touches the lives of ordinary people, like my family and countless others. It’s a disease that slowly robs individuals of their ability to move, speak, and even breathe, but it doesn’t take away there spirit or determination.
By participating in this challenge, I’m hoping to inspire others to learn more, donate, or take action in their own way. Together, we can help make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease, and hopefully, one day, we’ll find a cure.

The transition of an awesome colour change ♥️. This is the result of 4.5 hours of colouring … we started of with waving my magic onscalp wand and then putting through a non bleaching colour remover to keep the integrity of the hair. The Fluro pink and green popped! So we did another gentle colour removal at the basin, did a gentle tone to rebalance the hair, and then came back and created this very lovely sunset 🌅 melt.

This matter means a lot to me and I believe that to get more research we need more recognition on Motor Neurone Disease, and accepting it as a notifiable disease.
This would help the medical / research authorities identity the triggers, or causes of MND, and seeing the numbers of those affected.
There are 400 sufferers of MND at any time in NZ, and this country has the highest incidence of the disease. We need to know what we’re dealing with so we can support the families affected.
