What signs does your body use to communicate emotional stress?
For me, it’s my skin. When I’m feeling stressed or out of balance my skin really flares up.
Earlier in my healing journey, this was quite severe and relentless. Over time, I came to understand that my body wasn’t working against me… it was trying to get my attention.
In Kinesiology, we recognise that emotional stress can be held in the body and may show up physically in many ways.
For you, this might be digestive issues, disrupted sleep, muscle tension, or anxiety.
Our body is always communicating. The signs may be subtle… or they may feel quite loud.
Simply listening can reveal so much! 🩷💫

Why does it stay with me, looping through my thoughts, feeling hard to let go?
Often, there is something deeper asking to be seen and understood.

What happens in a Kinesiology session?
Every session begins with space for you to be truly heard — to share what has brought you here and what you would like to achieve. It is a safe place to talk about what is happening in your life, what is causing you stress, and how this has been feeling for you.
Whether the session is in-person or online, your comfort is important so your body can fully relax.
Using gentle muscle testing, I show you how your body responds to different statements. This helps us identify where stress may be held within the body, including underlying beliefs.
Your body guides the process, showing what it is ready to bring into awareness.
We explore the emotions, body systems — such as the nervous system and stress response — and areas of your life that may be connected to what you are experiencing.
Once this awareness emerges, we support the body to gently rebalance using the method it responds to best.
This may include gentle body work, sound healing, acupressure points, vibrational essences, or other supportive energetic tools.
Each session is unique and individual, gently supporting you to return to a more harmonious state of being.

Why do emotions get stored in the body?
Sometimes we go through something stressful or emotionally overwhelming, and we don’t always have the space or support to fully process or even acknowledge what we’re feeling at the time.
Those emotions can become held within us, to be dealt with later, rather than being fully felt and released in the moment.
Our body is so intelligent — it stores these experiences so we can keep moving forward in life, until we feel safe or ready to come back to them.
This is often why emotions can show up physically — as tension, digestive discomfort, unsettled sleep, or a feeling of heaviness that’s hard to explain.
Often we place layer upon layer over these emotions, because we don’t want to revisit the pain… or sometimes we simply don’t know how to.
When we are given a safe space to gently acknowledge what we’ve been holding, it can feel like a sense of relief begins to move through us — a little like clearing leaves from a stream. Everything can begin to flow more freely again, and most importantly, the nervous system can start to settle.
In Kinesiology, we gently listen to what your body is communicating. As stored stress begins to release, many people notice a greater sense of ease, clarity, and emotional balance.
Sometimes, simply recognising that your body may be holding onto something is the first step toward understanding yourself more deeply. 🩷💫

Recently, I supported a Client who was experiencing resentment, nausea and difficulty sleeping. She knew it was stress, yet she couldn’t clearly identify what she was truly feeling.
In Kinesiology, we understand that suppressed emotions often show up physically. Digestive discomfort, unsettled sleep, or a heavy feeling in the body can reflect emotional stress that hasn’t yet been processed.
During the session, we worked with specific acupressure points, eye movements and gentle temporal tapping. These techniques help calm the nervous system and allow the body to feel safe enough to access deeper, long-held emotions.
What emerged was old hurt that had been layered over for years. With space and gentle support, she was able to acknowledge it, process it, and begin to feel lighter and clearer within herself.
Emotional freedom doesn’t happen all at once. It is often a gradual unfolding, layer by layer. But as the body releases stored stress, there is a growing sense of ease and the ability to truly be yourself.
