Aussie nurse’s horror pool accident at Bali beach club An incredibly unlucky jump into the pool at a popular beach club in Bali had an Australian nurse fearing she would be left with paraplegia.

Often clients request lip filler and want to achieve a more natural result. Their fear of being overfilled often leads to hesitation and avoiding treatment all together. Subtle natural looking lips happens to be my specialty!

I am able to provide more extreme results if requested however I will always respect the anatomy and quality of the skin which will allow a certain volume of lip filler as opposed to merely overfilling the lips causing loss of shape and definition.

If your lips are already fully plumped up and there is evidence of lip filler that has migrated into the surrounding tissue of your lip, I may suggest dissolving first and begin treatment for lip filler in a couple of weeks. You don’t have to settle for an undesired look that your previous lip filler has created.

Lip shape will always be determined by your anatomy, however using a progressive lip technique, over time we can achieve a closer result to your aesthetic goals. Most lips I have created have been treated slowly over time to achieve more beautiful results.

Often during treatment I will use an ice pack to reduce the initial bleeding, bruising and swelling that takes place. Lips are highly vascular and it is normal for this to occur. 💉 👄

They will be fully healed within 1-2 weeks.

I will advise clients to continue with the application of an ice pack and more importantly to continue monitoring their lips and check any suspicious discolouration for adequate blood supply. (Called a capillary refill test- shown on the day of injectables). If you do happen to encounter any issues or concerns following your treatment- I am contactable after hours and will always ask you come in for a review- after hours for any suspected emergencies where I have a specialist on standby to provide assistance if necessary. Your safety is my priority.

For first time lip filler virgins the initial result can often come as a bit of a shock due the swelling and redness. This will resolve! However keep in mind that the more filler I use, usually the more you will encounter bruising and swelling and may take a little longer to heal. .

So usually we say to clients who have PRP for hair regrowth to not expect too much for at least 3 months. However, we needed to display the effects of our client here who has had two sessions of PRP. Second picture is clearly demonstrating the regrowth of new hair and thickening of existing hair. His results will continue to improve in the coming months as his second session starts to take effect. Stay tuned! ..
