One of the major concerns clients have when coming to me for tattooing is that the finished result will be too dark, too thick, too harsh. And initially, it can be. This image shows the difference between the tattoo straight after the second tattooing session and two weeks later. I am always extremely transparent with my clients and I explain the the morning after their tattooing session it will appear much darker and often thicker than the completed result. This is due to swelling as well as oxidation of the pigment and bodily fluids (TMI I know) on the tattooed area. Once the healing process is complete (around 7-10 days) the tattoo appears much much softer and often a little smaller/thinner than originally thought.

2.5 years later for eyeliner, eyebrows have had a touch up about 3 months ago. Eyes are due for a touch up in the new year - we are so happy with this pigment retention 🖤⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
