Let's talk about the different decades of ageing and the effects that collagen loss has on our skin.

In our 20s collagen is at its peak and skin naturally repairs itself well.

From our 30s we lose roughly around 1% of collagen every year.

By the time we reach our 40s we may experience 15 to 20% less collagen than we did in our 20s.

And studies show that women can lose up to 30% of their skin collagen in the first five years of menopause and a further 2% each year for the following 15 years.
