Myofascial release therapy

Myofascial release (MFR) is largely used for adjusting pain in the musculoskeletal system lesions such as muscle fibers and myofascial trigger points. It is well known as a one of the treatment methods for lower and upper back pain. According to recent study, MFR is defined as a highly efficient therapy, which contributes to significant pain decrease. Also MFR is one of the therapeutic exercises that may heighten flexibility of the muscles and mobility of the joints.

Trigger point therapy

Painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system, including myofascial pain syndrome, constitute some of the most important chronic problems encountered in a clinical practice. A myofascial trigger point is a hyperirritable spot, usually within a taut band of skeletal muscle, which is painful on compression and can give rise to characteristic referred pain, motor dysfunction, and autonomic phenomena.
