Today a gentleman walked up and requested to make vials vials of perfume. I thought to myself, “he knows what he wants, this should be quick.” One for mum and one for his girlfriend. When he sat down, he closed his eyes and focused on each person as he selected the essential oils. He reminisced his holiday with mum. He imagined his girlfriend right next to him. I was impressed! In the middle of all the noise and crowd he immersed himself in a great state of calmness and practiced mindfulness. At the end he created two very different scents. As he was writing his messages on the labels, I told him he knows his loved ones very well as I can smell it from his blends. His perspective of these special people appears to be from first person. He was so surprised, he request I help him present the perfume to his girlfriend face to face. She was very grateful and was so touched by the surprise he gifted her. I’m so glad he took on my guidance and created such wonderful gifts. Like a piece of artwork but in an aroma. It brings me so much joy to see the genuine reactions as he gifted the perfume to his girlfriend. This made my day and I hope to see them again soon. 💛
