As lash artists, our goal is for clients to leave with bright, irritation-free eyes. Occasionally, clients may experience redness—but why does this happen?

Here are a few common reasons:

• Eye pads shift: The eye pad might be placed too high on the lash line initially, or it may shift during the appointment if we’re chatting or laughing (as your cheeks move, so do the pads).

• Eyes slightly open: If your eyes don’t fully close while resting, it can allow glue fumes to get in. We use special techniques to keep them as closed as possible, but it’s something that can happen naturally.

• Possible sensitivity or allergy: Some people are sensitive or allergic to products like eye pads, adhesive, or lash cleanser.

If you ever feel stinging, irritation, or watering, please let us know! Sometimes it’s an easy fix, and we want you to feel comfortable throughout the whole process 🫶🏼

Aftercare Tip: If you do experience redness after your appointment, don’t worry—it should go away within 1-3 days. However, if it worsens, please reach out to us, as it could indicate a more severe reaction like an allergy.

It’s okay if you don’t know proper lash aftercare! That’s why I’m here ✧*:･ﾟ

First of all, yes you can wet your lashes within 24hrs, I know many of you already know this but I still get asked this question a lot! I myself even had to unlearn this after years of getting my own lashes done and being told this. It’s old news, lash glue technology has significantly improved and it’s not something we need to worry about anymore

Please please please wash your lashes daily! You really are hindering your retention by not doing this. Washing your lashes isn’t going to make them fall out faster, it’s going to make them last longer. Not to mention the build up of makeup and gunk that leads to further problems…
