One of the most expensive habits in business isn’t making bad decisions.
It’s making decisions that were never really yours.
When an Extensionist messaged us saying they felt like they “had” to attend Hair Festival because everyone else was going, it reminded me how easily we can mistake popularity for strategy.
Every business owner experiences it.
The fear that everyone else knows something you don’t.
The fear that if you don’t go, don’t launch, don’t buy, don’t follow the crowd… you’ll fall behind.
Our brains naturally fear losing an opportunity more than they value making the right decision.
But here’s what I’ve learnt.
