Fresh Blend for My Gorgeous Client ✨

Started with a ¾ head balayage for soft dimension, adding fine babylights around the face frame to keep things bright and seamless.
I lifted using Schwarzkopf BLONDME + 20 Vol to a clean, pale yellow.

At the basin, I applied a soft root stretch — staying close to her natural colour (just half a shade lighter), keeping the face frame out for that bold pop of brightness.

✨ Root formula:
½ 6/0 + ½ 7/97 (Wella Color Touch)

✨ Mid-lengths, ends & face frame gloss:
½ 9/16 + ¼ 10/81 + ¼ Clear (Wella Color Touch)

Toned the ends first, followed by the face frame, then blended into the root melt for a flawless transition. Let it sit for 15 minutes while keeping a close eye to avoid over-toning.

The result? A soft, multidimensional blonde with natural depth and that sunkissed glow we love 🫶🏼

First post of 2025 and it’s a special one.
This is undoubtedly my proudest moment in my 15-year hairdressing career. Today, I had the honor of working my hair magic on my incredible mother, who has bravely been battling through some health struggles recently.

She may not be able to step foot in my salon often, but being able to bring a smile to her face today and make her feel beautiful means everything to me.

She is the most beautiful woman in the world in my eyes and I feel today she felt that too.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I became a hairdresser and why I do it this job in the first place.

As hairdressers, we have the unique ability to uplift others and help them see their beauty, even in the hardest times no matter what they’re going through. Seeing her look in the mirror and smile fills my heart with joy and gratitude ❤️

Feeling grateful for this moment and for the opportunity to make my mum feel special. She truly is my inspiration!
