Let’s break them down ⤵️ 1️⃣ Not prepping properly- Prep is most important when ensuring you get the longest wear possible from your nails. You want to be sure you’ve removed all dirt and natural oils from your nail plates by dehydrating them, if you skip this step your natural oils and dirt will lift your nails and not last. To dehydrate your nails you should be using 90% isopropyl Alcohol wipes that are included with your aftercare kit. I suggest buffing your natural nails first until they lose their shine and then going in with the alcohol to make sure those babies aren’t popping off any time soon! 2️⃣ Not applying the right amount of glue- Your prep routine could be on point and you’re still wondering why your press ons aren’t lasting the full 3 weeks? Well it could come down to the amount of nail glue you are using, too little glue and they won’t adhere to your natural nails properly, too much glue and you are flooding your cuticle with glue which will just cause lifting and will ruin your beautiful design, we don’t want any of that over here! 3️⃣Guessing sizing- In a rush to get your press ons and think you know your size by just guessing? Most likely this will lead to disappointment when it is time to apply your nails and they don’t fit correctly… Most people have different nail bed sizes from left hand to right so be sure to size both hands correctly once and then this will save you time when you purchase your next custom press on set. 4️⃣ Using nails as tools- Even though our press ons are made with acrylic/gel and are super durable using your nails to open, lift or in any other rough way will cause premature lifting and you won’t get the most out of you beautiful nails that you’ve invested in, your nails are jewels, not tools girly! 5️⃣ Not applying cuticle oil- Cuticle oil has always been essential for me, not only does cuticle oil have a bunch of benefits for your nails and cuticles it also helps with retention.
